Definitions

• Texty: the Chrome extension and related services we provide.
• User: an individual who installs or uses Texty.
• License: the right to use Pro features under a purchased plan.

Account & License

• Licenses are per user and non‑transferable without written consent.
• You are fully responsible for keeping your license key confidential.
• One license may be used on a specific number of devices according to your purchased tier.
• We reserve the right to suspend or revoke a license in cases of abuse, public sharing of the key, or violation of these terms.

Prohibited Use

You agree not to:

• Use Texty for any illegal, fraudulent, or unauthorized purpose.
• Attempt to reverse engineer, disassemble, modify, or extract Texty’s source code.
• Share your license keys publicly or attempt to bypass the device limits.
• Engage in any action that may damage, overburden, or impair Texty's servers and networks.

Payments & Refunds

Payments are securely processed by our third‑party provider (LemonSqueezy). Refund policies follow the specific terms shown on the checkout page and the processor's policies. For payment inquiries, please contact us via our support email.

Service Availability

We strive to keep the service highly available and running smoothly. However, we do not guarantee uninterrupted, 100% error-free access at all times. Maintenance, updates, or infrastructure provider issues may result in temporary downtime.

Ownership & Intellectual Property

Texty, including but not limited to its source code, design, text, graphics, and interfaces, is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited license to use the application, but you do not acquire any ownership rights to the Texty software.

Limitation of Liability

Texty is provided on an “as is” and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect damages, lost profits, data loss (including the loss of your locally stored snippets), or harm resulting from your use of or inability to use the service.

Changes to Terms

We may update or modify these terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced on the site or via email to licensed users. Your continued use of Texty after the changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the new terms.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws applicable to Texty’s operating jurisdiction, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
